Primark in Manchester is one of the main focal points for many people, cheap fun and you can throw it away at the end of the night! Disposable shopping has definately been a most fashionable trend, especially for all the people that can’t afford a new designer wardrobe every month. Although personally lately I think this cheap Primark shopping is becoming a fashion victims home. You used to be able to find a bargain and no one would know any better, now everyone is wearing exactly the same things, what happened to individuality??
I was further more put off by Primark (and various other comapnies) when I found that it’s not only making innocent shoppers fashion victims but also the people on the other side of the world in India victims as well. They work upto 90 hours a week on as little as 5p and day, making in total around £17-£22 a month! Nobody deserves to have to work in those kind of conditions, especially for our little shopping habits and for the financial gain of a greedy comapny.

Make sure you click on the link at the bottom of the page and download the full facts and figures and research of conditions in the factories.
Lets face it we all knew it was happening but you never seem to hear about it, so this article took some digging to find! I think there should be more publicity.
Shame on all you cheap shoppers out there!!

Following on from the bank charges scandal (which I think most people would have heard about by now), there is another consumer rebellion in the finance industry that I’ve noticed; mis-sold PPI reclaims.
