Day of the Week:
The highest open rates (read rates) during Q2 2007 were Wednesday (27%), Monday (26%) and Thursday (26%). – eROI, “Email Marketing Statistics By Day and Time” (July 2007)
Day of the Year:
The Most Popular Email Days of the Year For Retailers was Dec. 26, 2006, based on percent of retailers tracked via RetailEmail.Blogspot.

The current average salaries (for email marketers) have increased from $50,526 in 2005 to $63,547.

Our Advice:
Every company’s mailing list is going to behave differently – our advice would be to look at the best activity times on your website. ie, what time of day is best for gaining sales or enquiries? Deploy your campaigns around or before these most active times and you’ll get higher responses.
